Fuzzy Feather

I found this feather at South Park. It is very special and pretty. If you know what bird had this feather, please leave a comment for me. And on your comment, if you have one, please say what bird this is. Thank you! That's all.

I wonder if it was a goldfinch?

Hi, E!

I love your feather! I have one just like it on my very-stuffed-full color board at work, a bulletin board where I arrange things by color.

I found my feather in the park across the street from my house.

It thought maybe it was a goldfinch feaher, but my boss told me it is a flicker feather and that sometimes they will have a heart-shaped white spot on the underside of the feather. I keep looking for one like that!

Thank you for telling me what the bird is! I was very wondering. I found it at the park too!

Mommy likes your idea about the color board!

The bird is unusual.

Hi, E!

I will have to post a picture of my board for you and your mom to see. It is very calming to take a break from work for a little "color therapy" by arranging things on my board.

Thanks for your kind message about Beezle. She was a fun, albeit kinda mean, little cat.

Love,
Mady

Oh, and a Flicker is a type of woodpecker that is often seen eating on the ground. They are very cute.
